Leptospermum polygalifolium

A shrub about 2 to 3 metres tall quite common on the floor of woodlands.

It has very smooth bark and persistent fruits that may remain on the bush until a fire event. Seeds are viable when the fruit is opened.

Leaves are about 5 - 7 mm long and 1 - 2 mm wide and have a faint eucalyptus aroma.
