Blueskin or Green Wattle

Acacia irrorata

This is a small tree that grows here to about 15 metres.

It is one of the species of bipinnate leafed acacia that is fairly easy to distinguish. There are
1. rough ridges lining the stems,
2. stiff hairy main stems for the pinnate leaves and
3. a golden tinge to the new foliage.
4. and it flowers in Summer.
