Common Devil's Twine

Cassytha pubescens

A vine which matures to twines over a host plant. Seedling germinate in the soil and start looking for a host as they grow up.
Stems are only 0.5 to 1.5 mm thick.
Notice the small sessile flowers and fruits.
Fruit in inset top left are about double size.
