Weeping Meadow Grass

Microlaena stipoides

This small slender tufted grass is most attractive when bearing seeds on its long weeping stems.

This prolific soft grass is easily germinated and grows quickly. It can be grown in nursery conditions or planted straight into gardens from which it is easily transplanted in both situations. It is strongly recommended for covering those bare patches under the canopy of a woodland.
