Xanthorrhoea media
The species is median sized - hence its name.The flower spike can be between 90 cm and 2 metres tall but the actual flowers in all cases amount to about 1/6 of the total height. Its leaves are hard and angular in cross-section and among the specimens at Tumbi Wetlands there are none with trunks.
