Sweet Pittosporum

Pittosporum undulatum

This tree is highly opportunistic annd is often maligned because of its habit of colonising disturbed bushland margins. However it is a species believed to be bushfire retardant to some dergree. Its presence assures that Spring will be marked by its fragrance. It flowers in September October and produces a crop of bright orange bird attracting berries each containing a number of seeds.
