Maidenhair Fern

Adiantum aethiopicum

This is the common Maidenhair Fern which may be in our area as a garden escapee or naturally or both.
In the lower half of the photo you see the individual fronds and their attachment to the stalks.
On the lower right section you see oe of the "U" shaped sori (spore producing structures) on the underside of the fronds.
