This small tree has leaves of the shape that botanists describe as falcate – the cresent-like shape of the leaf central to the adjoining photo. It grows to about 5 metres – has its globular flowers born on an axillary raceme. It flowers from late 3 -Autumn to mid-Winter. Its pods straight to slightly curved – mostly straight-sided and flat and barely constricted between seeds: up to 12 cm long and 8 mm wide. Created: 05/09/2008 Edited: 11/10/2010
