Boronia polygalifolia / Dwarf Boronia
This small heath shrub – only about 30 cms high – was seen because it was just tall enough to hold it flowers above the grass which surrounded it. The insert in top right corner is full size (photographed with a 2 mm grid as background) so you can see why it is easy to miss. I am told that it is becoming less common as rabbits love to eat it. I have returned to the site where it was found in Spring of 2013 – but have not yet seen it again.
