Cupaniopsis anacardioides / Tuckeroo
While this small tree is indigenous to the area it is probable that specimens of it in the wetland are the result of planting an imported specimen. All observed occurrences of it are scattered around a mature tree on the edge of the reserve. It is used extensively as a street tree not far from Tumbi but given the space and time it can grow to 15m tall. The photo to the left shows some of its flowers – fruits and brownish juvenile leaves.
