This is one of the three upper canopy trees at Tumbi Wetlands. It gets its common name from the scarry trace left under the bark by a small moth larva as it feeds there. When the bark peels off – earlier damage is seen as scribbly markings on the smooth grey trunk. Created: 02/104)/2008
