Persicaria decipiens / Spotted Knotweed

This plant has been found growing in the water and in damp regions nearby. It appears to be an annual – which produces copious amounts of seed from its drooping pink flowers. It flowers Summer to 3 -Autumn and dies in 4 – Winter leaving a knotted skeleton standing where it was. Created: 10/23/2007
