Thysanotus tuberosus / Common Fringe Lily

This plant has been found in an area mainly populated by grasses – sedges – Orchids and and other monocots under a sparse canopy of Melaleucas. The leaves are slim and cylindrical – like the stems – so that it is not surprising that it is difficult to find among sedges when no flowers are present. Scale in cms. Created: 01/31/2008
