Viola betonicifolia / Native Violet
This perennial herb has leaves up to 7 cm long and 25 mm wide, which are usually held erect. Leaves are arrow shaped with margins almost smooth or shallowly scalloped. This has not been seen in the wetland but this plant germinated from soil collected with a plant being transplanted. It has been producing seeds without flowering throughout Autumn and early Winter!
